In this episode we have met Russian Old Believers who managed to escape from the Soviet Union after the October Revolution. Now they live in the middle of Brazil. Unlike farmers who live in Russia and grow cabbage, the Brazilian Old Believers grow avocados, mangoes and passion fruits.
Many of these Old Believers now want to return back to Russia. They want to begin a new life in the Russian Far East.
Our team went to Brazil to visit the people who left their motherland a hundred years ago. However, it turned out they are those few people who still live in the old Russia which was irrevocably lost after the October Revolution.
